OH HAY! How is lj land?

I have lots of things to share that are way overdue. Let's begin!

This was totally spur of the moment. I drove over there around 11 at night I think, and ended up staying for a week completely unplanned. They wanted me to stay longer but I had finally heard back from my employer and they wanted me to start the following Monday.
Who did I stay with? Jai and Rob of course! They were the best hosts ever and if I could, I'd stay with them foreveeerrr. lol, weird to mention that but omg. I <3 them. It was my first visit to San Diego by myself. The last time I went there was with Psyclon on our way to their last show on the Ruina tour. It awesome to go there and be able to see the place itself. It's kinda nice. I really like it there.
My week there consisted of mostly just gaming. Jai and Rob pretty much just... play Aion and LoL. They have this cute computer room with both of their computers set up all cozy like. It's adorable. Jai felt bad that I was away from my baby back home so she told her friend about me being there, and he offered to let me use his gaming laptop while I was there! I was soooooooooooooooo grateful and appreciative. I never expected that in a billion years. It was nice though. He already had WoW on it with some add ons. I just set up Curse Client and updated everything and added a few add-ons that I used back home. It was extremely generous of him, and to this day I am very thankful he did that. So during the week I was there, we gamed like pros, and then they took me to this massive azn supermarket, and then another supermarket, and then they also took me to eat at a Japanese noodle house. These three things alone are motivation enough for me to wanna move down there. We have that stuff here too but because it's L.A., it's super expensive and stupid and pisses me off because everything in L.A. is considered some bullshit luxury just because it's in L.A.
While there, we got a crap load of random stuff just to try out. Some stuff they've had before, other stuff not. That place was amazing. So was the noodle house, omg. So good.
LET ME SHOW YOU THEM. )

Not really.

I kind of disappeared for a little bit, technically. In the midst of Hollywoodizing and realizing I was running out of money and being cooped up in here all day, every day, with weird tensions I had with my roommate's habits, and blah blah I could go on, I split for my friends house in San Diego. You might know a little of her. Her name is Jai :)

I stayed there for about a week and had an awesome time. It was good to get out of the house for once and just relax. Not have to worry about bills and job searching again and hearing noises I didn't want to hear. It was all taking it's toll on me, and I was projecting my boredom and crankiness onto Rot, so I split lol. I loved loved loved staying with her!!! I wish she didn't live so far. She lives about 2 hours from here. I met Rob officially (I had met him through Aion originally) and we all had a blast. I'll post pictures and videos from there later. But that's where I was last week. I came home after receiving the news that I was offered a job. YAY SECURITY. This time, I'm not gonna be an idiot. I NEED to get my monitor. So ... yea.
Came home super early, got here around 4am and didn't wanna wake Rot so I slept in the living room to be later awoken via snuggles and purrs by a not so rotten Rodney. :3 Good to be home! I missed my computer! haha
I'm prob gonna go back there either next week or the week of Xmas to help them decorate. I know she really wants to, and I do too, it just comes down to my availability with work.

I took some screenshots. Tried to make em look nice =\
Don't laugh... my monitor sucks.

This will make for a great story to tell my grand kids. Or just anyone, really.

Rot and I have always fantasized about going to our park one day and just... feed the squirrels. Get a bag of the most delicious mix of nuts and dried fruit to last us for a good 45 minutes of blissful harmony with our adorable, furry little pals. All critters welcome. And it would be awesome and great and happy and joyful and merry and just so fucking cute and everything good in the world, all in one little piece of dried banana.

So one afternoon, on Rot's day off, he comes into my room and says to me, "Wanna go feed the squirrels, Pang?"

I go, "Peempang! Nyis!"

So we get our shit and head to the 7-11 on the corner to pick up some delicious nuts and dried fruit. It's right across the street from the park, so we cross over and find a nice, cozy little spot to sit down at. The squirrels knew. They watched us as we sat down. Rot opened the bag and started tossing pieces around us. Immediately, a squirrel came towards us. A couple seconds later, more started showing up. Eventually, our pigeon friends joined us. There was one particular pigeon that had only one whole leg. His other was a little stump :(. I assumed it was from the acids that are sprayed on the rooftops of buildings. They do that to keep pigeons away. It's awful what it does to them. That's why you see so many with stumps. That shit eats away at their little feet. So sad... I threw a lot of fruit at him. ^-^v  I LOVE HIM HE'S SO CUTE :D

Everything in the world was wonderful and great. I was having such a good time with my Peempurs and my furry lil fwans eating out of my hand.

One of them crawled up Rodney's leg and onto his shoulder. CUTEST THING YOU EVER SAW. It just wanted a dried nanner ^_^

Yeah. I got bitten. At first it was cool, because I can just say "I have rabies" and no one will talk to me or come near me. But then, my non moron friends kept telling me I'd be fine. Squirrels can't get rabies. =\ Ya learn something new every day. I told Lisa what happened and that I had rabies, and she just looked at me for a couple seconds, then laughed saying "you're fine." Ron didn't help matters by adding in that squirrels can't get rabies anyway, "yea, you're fine."
They're too smart for my jokes. Y U CATCH ON SO QUICKRY!?

It was a nasty bite though. Little guys bite HARD, haha. Bled quite a bit, too. I don't blame the little guy though. As you can see in the video, he was the only squirrel that I didn't hand feed right into his mouth. I just had my hand open for him to grab whatever, and take. aaaaaaand that's exactly what he did. I'm assuming it was a boy squirrel because he was massive. They all were!

I can't wait to go back and feed them some more! Now that it's getting chillier there may be more running about gathering food for the winter. I'm gonna come with more food, and not make the same mistake I did last time. Just literally give them the
food. Feed it to them. Don't just have your hand out with a hand full of crap open for them to grab, because it confuses them. They were all really good sports. It was so cute how they take the food out of your fingers. They're so shy and gentle when they grab it. And then... destroy it when it's in their jaws, lol.

Watch me get bitten! :3

You know what? The world may never know.

What's important, however... is that I got it on camera.

Ponies. Hi Ponies. Yeah, you Ponies. HAY PONIES!!!

This entry is about you and your coming out of the womb, and then it being celebrated years later with vegan sushi. In your cute little suit. :D

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your special day, even though you didn't want us to get you anything, or even really acknowledge anything regarding the occasion lol <3, but here's a little something to mark that evening, ANYWAY. mwahahaha >=3
unless you like... ask me to take it down. then I will. >_>

The same Sunday that we got our dining set, well.. technically Monday, Jai (from Aion) wanted to go to the Tim Burton exhibit at LACMA. It was the very last night to go. I had no idea about this. Because I am a socialite noob. Apparently it goes on for a couple months, whereas my dumbass thought it was for a couple of days. Yeah, well anyway. She really wanted to go, and asked me to come with her. The only thing was, tickets were sold out for Sunday and Saturday. Instead --- we got tickets to go at 3 AM. The very last showing of it.

I was exhausted Sunday because I had to get up at 4 to drop Rot off at the airport, then go an interview, then come home and become inspired until like 7PM. So I took a nap, and woke up 45 minutes after she texted me from outside our apartment. Bad Friend award of the year winner. Right here. She called me and I woke up feeling an emotion referred to as guilt. Rarely ever feel this emotion. Let me too you, it sucks.
So she comes in and I haul ass to get ready.

And then hauled ass to get there. We were an hour late but the thing was open all night. #girls
I just hashtagged in my journal. sigh.

I've never been to LACMA before! It was pretty neat. I've never seen such an attractive waste of electricity before. Not even the ones at the Los Angeles Airport are that great. And they're neon. Stupid and useles, but something to compare to regardless. The LACMA lights!

I brought my camera because I was planning to go crazy. Unfortunately, they said no. Don't even think about it. Don't even try it. Or you get kicked out. We couldn't even have our cellphones out. There was security everywhere. And I have something called respect, so no pictures from Cynth :(

Thankfully for the world out there, there are other people who lack this foreign concept of respect, and did take pictures! They said they didn't want us to because it was a copyright thing. LOL earlier on, as soon as we stepped in, some azn chick pulled her big ass Rebel and started aiming at the statues, when a security guard was like HEY. WTF ARE YOU DOING? WE SAID NO CAMERAS WHATSOEVER. and she didn't put her camera away. She was like... attempting to defend using it. She didn't even try to hide it, lol.

Anyway. Yeah. Maybe this exhibit was one of the few that didn't allow it? I dunno, because I googled it and of course there are many, many, many photographs from other exhibits. But I bet they were forbidden, too. It doesn't make sense to have that policy in one state and not another.

ANYWAAAAAAYYY, the exhibit was amazing! Eeverrrryything he ever did was there. Even the stuff he drew and wrote in high school was on display. Some of his earliest films were being shown, also. All of his paintings and drawings in chronological order. It's just amazing how much talent one person can have. This dude is incredible. He's a writer, painter, sketch artist, director, animator, designer, and he's got Robert Smith hair. Too bad he's not hot. I guess that's nature's way of balancing things out a bit, huh? There were props from all of his movies as well. OMG THE EDWARD SCISSORHANDS SUIT WAS 10 INCHES IN FRONT OF ME. A realistic gauging of Johnny Depp's physique right in front of me. ^__________^ hot.
Batman masks, catwoman's suit and gloves. The scissor glove Johnny wore.

They displayed several of the puppets from The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Corpse Bride. Beetleguise stuff. There was one room where it was just neon black lights w/ Oogie's massive puppet in the corner. And at the beginning of the exhibit, you see these huge sculptures of some of Tim's earlier drawings. Like... big. Sculptures.

Source

All in all it was pretty amazing. I was blown away. That man in incredible, lol. Can you imagine having these huge museums across the country dedicating MONTHS to display your lifes work? That's INSANE. He deserves it completely. And I recommend everyone see it when it comes around. You'll be like omfg. :D

Oh, I also saw this awesome van that was parked right behind us. I had to take a picture.

Last Sunday, after arriving home that morning, I noticed a table outside our complex on the sidewalk just... all alone and sad. I went over to inspect it and got an idea. Obviously, to claim it. But I was inspired to make our apt look nicer. See... we don't have a real dining room. The dining room area is occupied by gaming computers, lol. So we don't have a dining set.
I wanted to bring in the table, but couldn't do it myself. Rot was in NYC for the show, so I'd have to wait til my roommate came home.

We brought it inside, cleaned it off, checked for boogers. All good. But we needed chairs. And a table cloth. Sears! We went to one... but they didn't have any tablecloths. Ok fine. This other place that google maps suggested! But it had closed down. Thrift store! We went to a Good Will in the area, where we found some cute little bottles. But no chairs that we wanted. There were some but we didn't have a need for a set of 6 chairs. And no tablecloths. So I google map'd another place. We kept making wrong turns so it took us longer than it would've normally. But finally got there. Cute little place with lots of neato stuff. They had these ugly wooden brown chairs w/ red felt cushions. We got 3 for 50 bucks. Brought em outside to the harsh realization that they won't fit in the car. At least not the legal way. His Honda only has two doors, so we couldn't get the chairs inside.

FORTUNATELY, he has a sun roof. So... I'm embarrassed that I went with this because it was extremely dangerous but wtf were we gonna do?? We shoved two chairs in the back w/ the legs sticking out, and one, upside down, through the sun roof and hauled ass at 20mph home. Not without missing turns. We finally got home and brought em upstairs. Yay. But now we need a table cloth, and the chairs are ugly. LETS PAINT THEM. So we went to look for a fabric or arts and crafts store in the area. The only place that came up was Michael's. Guess what. They don't have fabrics. Fail. So we left and then went to Lowe's. Bought painting stuff, went a little overboard imo with some stuff we didn't really need but whatever.

Which reminds me of something I learned from one of the managers at my old work. He reprimanded me about something, and I told him I had just assumed blah blah blah. He took my notebook and wrote in big letters on it:

"when you-"

A S S U M E

"-makes an A S S of  U and  M E."

Changed my life. Mad respect.

So then we continued our search for a table cloth, or just fabric. So we went to this Fabric place that google maps suggested. Turns out it was a designing company and not a store at all! The world did not want us to get a tablecloth. So then I suggested we just go to the mall and look there. Soooo we did. Went to Macy's. They have table cloths!! But for like $140.00. Nah... We're good. So then we went to bed bath and beyond. YAY!!! They have some. finally! Josh suggested red, I thought black would look better. We went with black. Which I'm super glad over because it looks awesome. Afterward, we needed corks, and food coloring. We got food coloring at Ralph's. and I was hoping we could find just regular normal corks that arts and crafts places would have, but apparently they make super fancy ones for alcoholics that are expensive and durable for excessive/repetitive use? Or something? We went to the liquor store and got this almost 10 dollar thing of just two corks. I didn't feel like wasting more time just standing there arguing so I just went with it so we could leave. We got home and went to work! We had taken the chairs apart before we left again last time, so we brought them downstairs to the garage and started painting them.
Our neighbor let us use gold spray paint to spray the cork. Looks good :D
Everything dried super quick and we brought em back in after an hour and a half.
My dream of accessorizing with inventory goodies finally came true.

Rot used to tease me saying how silly I was for hording several spaghetti sauce containers in our cupboard at our old apartment. I had an agenda!! Eventually they were all thrown out :( But now, I'm sure he's eating his words cuz I'm awesome. ^-^v

So since I'm limited with my options with WoW photography, I decided to just kinda do something else. It's not gonna be scenic or anything, but I guess just more documenting-ish. I figure this is the next best thing since I play it so much, and the shots come out low-res anyway, so why not?

I've been messing around with some stuff that I wasn't aware of before. I knew I could take screens, but didn't know where they were saved. And... it wasn't important enough apparently to look it up until recently. Why now?
Well... because one of my dudes was abducted by aliens, raped, impregnated, and had a baby.
He gave birth to a green alien baby.
I've decided to name him Kawaii. His features are already coming in, and it's pretty ugly.
This is pretty fucked up. A dude doesn't have a vagina, or any room inside to carry a baby. So it makes ya wonder. At least it makes me wonder.

Meet my guise )
I have to go to bed super early tonight. Rot and I are going to the airport tomorrow >_<
No, not Burbank. That would've been too convenient. We're going to LAX. HOW FUN. Bleh. Tomorrow night is gonna be kick ass though. :D

FOR PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!!!

One of my favorites fo real fo real.

Ever since I quit, I've been in a super good mood.
Funny story - the other girl that worked there quit yesterday. This makes my heart giggle. She's worked there for 3 years. It's like I was Rotny during the European Psyclon tour. I quit, then someone else quits, then it just snowballs. Lul. She had a legit reason though. I wish her tons of luck in finding another jorb. She's been calling me every day and we keep each other's spirits high. Kinda gay, but yeah.  :)

Oh! I'd like to suggest some Starbucks drinks for you guise that are Starbucks frequent...ors... ?
Especially now that the holidays are around the corner, and the seasonal drinks are here!

-- You can customize the amount of syrup pumps or milk you want,
but these are just some of my favorites that I highly recommend

^_^v
  • Soy Vanilla Chai Latte, no water -- 1 less pump of Vanilla than Chai
  • White Mocha with Cinnamon Dolce -- 1 less pump of Cinnamon Dolce
  • Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino with Toffeenut
  • Soy Green Tea Latte with extra matcha powder and 2 extra pumps of Classic
  • Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with a banana, oatmeal nuts, extra vanilla bean powder, and occasionally chocolate chips.   ++ Always get a Grande INSIDE A Venti cup. You'll get charged for a Grande size but with the banana, you get Venti amount  ;)
  • Iced Soy Caramel Latte, extra pump of Caramel
  • Soy Eggnog Frappuccino with Caramel Brulee & Pumpkin Spice syrup  <---- Fucking FANTASTIC all up in yo mouf. I'm seriously.
  • Peppermint White Mocha with Whipped Cream
  • Toffeenut Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream
  • Toffeenut Latte with Whipped Cream. Sometimes with Soy if I'm not feeling frugal.

This is what happens when you work at Starbucks for as long as I did. I really enjoyed it, surprisingly. Sometimes I wish I had more motivation to go back, but I really don't wanna work at that location again. It was waaaaaayyy too busy. My arm would just die and break off my shoulder. But I'm not motivated to work at any other places either. Maybe in the future if I'm desperate.

I made a new banner of... my face. I figure that my not having a social networking profile that displays a bunch of photos of myself anymore, I need something of the sort that'll do that. So I picked 4 pictures that best describe me. Bawls, Boogers, Fuu, Kitty hat. It pretty much explains me. Except I don't know where to put it, other than here. And my LJ profile.

Also, here's some random shit that I took today/recently:

I don't like sushi that much, but these california rolls were pretty kick ass. I've spent too much money on these fuckers already. Thankfully, I've stopped.

Today, I went back to the mall to restock my supply of SWEET MILK Pocky.
I got me some Starbuuuuxxxxxxx.
While I was there, I remembered how I used to always say to myself, silently, how one could always tell so much about somebody by their drink, and what they dress it/their cup with. It's so true!

See my cup?
Where's.... the sleeve? (incoming rant)

NO SLEEVE!? FOR MY LATTE?! FOR WHY???! IT'S BOILING MY HAND SO HARD LIKE THE HELL FIRES.
FOR WHY NO I HAVE A CUP SLEEVE?!?!?
Because.
Because... it's not that hot. Really, it isn't.
And I think this says a lot about me. I'm the kind of person that doesn't use a sleeve for my latte. And I say that proudly because in my opinion, that makes me less of a douchbag, even though I am kind of a douchbag, But this should knock off some douchbag points. Because no really, the cup is not that hot.
And I didn't even order it to be any less hot than the 175 degrees we'd steam it to.
I admit, I had to switch hands for the first minute or so, one hand to the other until my hands got used to the temperature, but C'MAAAAAAHHNNN.

When I worked at the Starbucks in San Francisco, NO ONE used a sleeve. I didn't even think twice about it.
When I transferred here, EVERYONE DEMANDED SLEEVES BECAUSE THEIR HANDS BLISTERED AND BURNED AND PEOPLE DIED. Even on iced drinks. People want sleeves for their iced beverages. It amazes me.

I digress.

I added to my eraser collection. It's official. I'm gonna do it.
I'm gonna start collecting these. And it'll be the most awesome collection in the universe.
No it won't. But you'll want to touch it when you visit. But you won't be able to. MWAHAHAHHAA
Gir and Wigglytuff are dating.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

I apologize for the lack of screenshots lately. Honestly, I'm bummed about it myself. I haven't been taking any as of late because of my monitor. I thought that I could buy a new one by now because of the money I've been making at my last job, but now I have to wait until I get a new one before I buy it. I can if I wanted to right now, but I rather have that extra money for bills and food and stuff. Once I land a job and get a new monitor, screenshots will be back!

DANG!

That was quick. O___O
SO, the very same day that I resigned from my last job, I went on craigslist and applied at this other place. They called yesterday and had me come in for an interview today! That was incredibly quick. Where was this luck a couple months ago? lol
Go figure, when I actually have some money to live off of for a couple weeks, this all comes at me super lightning fast. I'm not complaining though. I wouldn't mind working at this place. It's local. Took me 4 minutes to get there. Crossing my fingers!

This weekend is gonna be fun. I get to drive to LAX :D
Why? You'll find out soon enough.

In the mean time Peempurs and I have been enjoying some nice, quiet, quality time together; re-immersing ourselves into what you all know as evil incarnate:

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee're BACK!

Alliance!?!? It would seem so.
Don't judge! After playing Horde for 6 effing years, it starts to get a little tedious.
The same animations, quests, story lines, zones, EVERYTHING. Change sucks, but not all the time. ;D
I'll always be Horde at heart, don't you worry.

Couple things to write about!

*I'm back to my In-Game photography. You'll see it soon, just not in this entry. :P

A couple weeks ago I went to see Jason at his album release party. The bastard picked the best place to have it. On The Rox. Literally right above the Roxy. Just kidding, the ride sucked, but I'm down to support my buddies. He always puts on a good show. His singing faces are a riot. I wish I hadn't left my camera at home like a turd, but I did get one picture out of that night!

I know!!!
Well.. unless you've seen later seasons of The Guild, I guess it wouldn't make sense.
Her name's Teal, she plays Venom in Axis of Anarchy. She's a handicapped gamer that uses it to her advantage and is a total bitch to everybody.
Her character makes me lol. She rules.
When I said hay to her, she said she recognized me too from seeing me at some of Jason's other shows. Which was nice, because it didn't make me feel like a complete weirdo.

Next up:

We've been there like 74967239482039483879385 times. It's been stupid. But everything has been taken care of, and life starts a-new!
Rot had some old baggage with the Ohio DMV that he's had on his record forever, he thought, and had to pay some fines he never knew were there. ALL DONE :D
Two cars good to go, and our insurance went down. Woot!

Meowz got a moostach. ^_^

I'm not gonna put this under a cut because... I dun wanna!!! I'm in an extremely good mood right now. I guess good mood = no LJ cuts.
HOPE I'm pissed more often.

And then and then and then... Kyrie and I hung out last Sunday! I had to give her the gift I got her from Amazon. If you follow my twitter and saw my raging over my Amazon package, yeah.... it was that. lol
She liked it! Apparently it was on her Wish list. I had no idea XD So that was awesome. We went to go eat at Doomie's, and then went with Ponie's the Jess's house. We hung out there for a while and played with her kittehs. SO cute! ^-^

I love taking photos of her. She's so fun :3

We do the same thing when we get our picture taken. Make goofy faces. ^___^
